The Home Market is located in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward
neighborhood. Specializing in custom slipcovered furniture, unique home furnishings, apothecary, bedding and lighting, The Home Market mixes vintage and modern furnishings to create simple and elegant style.
Owner and designer Kate Barrette is a ten year veteran of the
home furnishings industry. She is the former Director of National
Retail Sales for Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic where she managed retail sales
at store sites in the Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco and
New York markets. A native of Wisconsin, Kate holds a design degree from the
University of Wisconsin-Madison.
